Black Bear

With almost 5,000 acres of club-owned forest lying within almost 100,000 acres of State Forest and other private hunting and fishing club lands, game abounds at Bright Creek. Members successfully hunt deer with at least 2 or 3 trophy bucks and numerous mature doe harvested each year. Bear, turkey, grouse, woodcock and waterfowl are present as well.

BCPA voluntarily follows all Pennsylvania rules and regulations in both hunting and fishing activities. The Club maintains a rifle and pistol range as well as a portable trap shooting device for Members' use. Luckily, there is no human habitation anywhere near the Club Property. The only non-natural sound heard on club property is an occasional airplane overhead.
