DIRECTIONS From the New York area: Take I-80 west and cross the Delaware River at the Delaware Water Gap. The second exit in Pennsylvania will be “Michael’s Creek;” take that exit and make a left turn off the ramp onto Route 447 north. Follow the directions below towards Canadensis. From the Philadelphia area: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike northeast extension to I-78 east. Continue to Route 33 north, then to I-80 in Stroudsburg. Go north on Route 191 to reach Route 447, then follow the directions below towards Canadensis. From the north: From I-84 west, take the “Promised Land” exit to Route 390 south. This will take you to Route 447. Follow the directions below from Route 447 in Canadensis. Once on Route 447, turn onto Upper Seese Hill Road. This turn will be 300 yards south of the traffic light in the center of Canadensis if you are coming from the north; it will be 300 yards before the traffic light if you are coming from the south. Climb 1.3 miles on Upper Seese Hill Road until you reach a fork (Camp Nanro). Bear left at the fork, then continue 3.3 miles on Lake Road to the camp gate. One hundred yards from the gate, make right turn onto a good dirt road and follow it for one mile to reach the main camp buildings.
PLEASE NOTE: BRIDGE DETOUR FOR PHILADELPHIA AREA TRAVELERS EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 2016 If you are a Philadelphia area visitor coming to Bright Creek via Rt 611 from Rt 80, please note the following change in navigation while the bridge is out: Traveling north on 611, go 3 miles to Woodland Rd. Make a right on Woodland Rd (Swiftwater) past the Casino. Go 2 1/2 miles to the "Y" intersection with Carlton Rd. Make a left onto Carlton Rd and continue 0.2 miles to a traffic light (Rt 940). Make a left on 940 and continue 0.2 miles to Devils Hole Rd. Make the next right onto Corners Rd and continue 2 miles to the intersection with 390. From that point on, continue with the usual route.
